Every surfer wants to ride barrels! Barrels are by far the most enjoyable moments in surfing, but it is not easy to do! There is less technique involved compared to things like airs and laybacks, but learning how to read when the wave will barrel and then learning when to either speed up or stall for that moment is difficult to learn. The best thing to do is to go for as many barrels as possible. Apply these 5 steps that I introduced in this tutorial to speed up the process. Get out there and have fun!
