After Spider-Man supplied a cure for her KRAKOAN DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, AUNT ANNA WATSON suddenly found herself perfectly sweet and sane and locked in the RAVENCROFT INSTITUTE. Getting her out legally has proved to be trickier than Anna's niece, MARY JANE WATSON, had initially hoped, but in the meantime, Anna's made herself at home in Ravencroft and even began to befriend its villainous residents. Among her newfound friends is WILLIAM BAKER, A.K.A. FLINT MARKO, A.K.A. SANDMAN. While visiting Anna, Peter struck up a conversation with William, who had turned himself in to keep his Flint Marko personality at bay. But when Peter revealed himself to have a connection to Spider-Man, Marko took control. Before Peter could be escorted out, William begged Peter to warn Spider-Man that the SINISTER SIX wasn't content to let Sandman pay his debt to society and were planning to bust him out!
