This Sunday we will be reading through Mark 9:30-50 where Jesus gives his 2nd predication about his death and resurrection as well take the time to teach his disciples an important lesson. What Jesus teaches is in response to the disciples arguing about who among them is the greatest disciple. But what Jesus seeks to teach them is true greatness in God’s eyes. In these verses we will see that the truly great in God’s eyes are those who serve others.
