On the Occation of Chahlum a Imam Hussain (as) Arbaeen, Safed Tazia starts its journey from old Delhi at about 9am and reaches Dargah Shah e Mardan, Karbala, Jor Bagh at 10 pm. A journey of approx 16 kms. Thousands of Azadars gather and follow the Tazia by reciting Nohas and doing Matam throughout the way.
This is a 150 year old Qadeemi Juloos which passes by the Indian Parliament and other high security zones of New Delhi, India. Only procession which has been permitted by the Government of India to pass through these VIP routs because of its importance.
