At a time when wood has never been more expensive, plywood is a great material to make relatively easy and stylish floating shelves. I used baltic birch ply which has a lot of layers which adds to the attractive edge but you can use any plywood that you'd like. This project is DIY friendly and although I used a table saw and mitre saw, you could complete this whole project with just a circular saw. All of the furniture I've made for this bedroom is entirely made of plywood so stay tuned for more videos on how to make modern and affordable furniture.
