𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐲𝐞 ?
Bachchan jee  seems to have a close bond with nature. He often  observes nature... has thought provoking silent conversations with it..... finds inspiration, solace and companionship in nature!
In this poem the poet introspects his personal sufferings and struggles...wondering why he endures all this and still continues on his path....for what? For whom?
He grapples with his disillusionment  and ponders whether it's worthwhile to keep pursuing his creativity even though no one might listen to him....there's a sense of sorrow...vulnerability....a search for purpose....
Ultimately he contemplates and connects to the nature..... he sees the strength , patience and resilience of nature which has borne endless calamities for years without complaining ....without a question. Despite all struggles and adversities nature still remains calm and maintains its beauty and serenity....

For whom? For whom?
The gruelling struggles life subjects me to...
Curses world inflicts upon me....
The agonies destiny bestows upon me....
Should I always go on bearing them.....
For whom?

Even though no one might listen...
They might not Echo back from anywhere...ever....
Yet ...everyday in my songs....
I go on expressing my pain....
For whom?

Why doesn't the Sun ask...
Why doesn't a mountain question....
Why doesn't a waterfall ask...

Like I do?

I keep burning....
I keep decaying...
I keep flowing....
For whom? For whom? For whom?

It's small tribute to one of the greatest poet of Hindi literature.
The younger generation needs to explore and discover the richness, the  poignancy of Hindi Kavita....as the magical touch of poetry is missing from our multitasking lives!
