Our family headed to southern Vermont for a winter weekend getaway. Hotels book fast but we were able to get a room at the Toll Road Inn not too far from Stratton Mountain in Manchester.
The hotel is an older style place run by a nice couple that live on the property. The room key was an actual physical key which actually was kind of cool and seemed to match the Vermont Mountain feel. The rooms were spacious, clean and cozy and the property has a stream in the back area where we had a little fun in the snow.

We spent the weekend exploring the towns in the area and took a sleigh ride at Friesians of Majesty which was about a 40 minute drive away in Townshend. The sleigh ride was fun and the tour of the property was very cool.
Also got the chance to get on the slopes at Stratton Mountain resort and enjoyed the day snowboarding before getting back on the road and heading back home.
