In this Physics video in Hindi for Class 12 we explained how much current is generated in a circuit, when AC voltage is applied to a capacitor. We also explained what capacitive reactance is. We derived the formula for power generated and calculated it. This topic is from Chapter 7 : 'Alternating Current' for Class 12 from NCERT.
Capacitive reactance : It is a property of capacitor and applied ac which decides the amount of current in a capacitive circuit. It behaves like resistance. It is the product of the capacitance and the angular speed of the oscillation of the ac.
