Episode 40 - Why I Dislike Manual Safeties On Handguns:

In this episode, Romine explains how manual safeties work on handguns and how it can be more of a detriment under stress. Manual safeties on these polymer frame guns aren't ideal because they're not made well and can set you back even more when defending yourself. The average person isn't going to train that muscle memory with their safety and might pay the price in real life. As explained in the video, if you want to use it, train A LOT. If you're not going to commit to that level of training, don't even use it. As long as you follow the 4 rules of gun safety, the gun will never go off anyway. Either way, it's a personal decision but it should be made asap.
