Well! It's been a long time. A very long time and what have I to say for myself..............Well! Hello! Um! If you check out the new blogs you can see that most of the cast has come together and we have done a read through. With that I have been re-writing like mad and slowly getting things together. The new editing kit has turned up via those lovely people at DVC, the camera is on its way and Stephen is hard at work constructing equipment and H.M.S Lumson and myself are sorting out the main bookshop set, getting the lighting equipment and sorting out the shooting schedule. So it's all go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have driven to Spain and back and working hard, so here we are, just about to start a new month and we have only four weeks before we start filming and for one of those weeks I am taking my family on holiday. That wonderful wife of mine needs a break and even though I can't stand holidays I must comply, because my poor other half needs a break and it will bring a smile to my face to see her happy (I mean, cut her some slack she has to put up with me!).

It's not all sunshine and smiles. Sometimes one has to do some unpleasant jobs and I have a big one coming up (Not me you smutty lot!) and it has to be dealt with and I am not looking forward to it, but I hear the voice of my dear mentor (Mr Downie) saying to me that the film must come first and it must so I have to deliver some bad new to some nice people. I shall say no more!!!!! (As John said) I'm sorry I can't say more, but these corner things act more of a diary for myself than anything else (Face facts! How many people are actually reading this?) And even though I am one for talking, most things that come out of my mouth can be discarded as total fim flan! Well there you go!

Good and bad, as always! One can't be without the other, like all things!

So! Four weeks and off we go. Three months of filming which goes like......?
Two week evenings and one day one the weekend a week and three months of that and we should have our new film in the can. Fantastic! And after that.....Who knows! One shall try! Indeed! One shall try! If you fancy trying as well by all means come along for the ride. We welcome most people who are up for a laugh.

Never forget! Never give up and never surrender! (As they say in Galaxy Quest! Another classic film)

Take care and spare a thought for the valiant few who are still following the dream.
