Move bumper for a GMC Sierra, assume it's the same for a Chevy Silverado? Lincoln SP 175 was used. Original description
You can find this at https://www.movebumpers.com
The bumper name is apart of the precision series
We mostly used MIG to do the welding. Between a Lincoln Electric SP 175 and a Eastwood

Between the supplies used for the metal and the painting, I'd say around $100-$200 (assuming you have all the tools, welder, grinders, clamps, etc) is a number you'll be spending if you did it yourself. The most costly part was the primer, paint, clear coat, and grits of sand paper. That was around $100 itself because I coated it thick. Then you have your various wheels for your angle grinder (sanders, cut offs, wire wheels). Then things for your welder such as welding wire and argon.

This was by far the best thing for someone like myself to purchase. It's essentially cutting out the middle-man. I didn't want to spend $1200+ on a front bumper and I also didn't want to spend a few hundred on some steel and dedicate my weekends shaping and fitting pieces as I have other things going on. Then I found this kit which is so nice. I do think we're building a rear bumper for my truck from scratch so stay tuned for that!

Any questions, drop them in the comment section! Thanks guys
