After watching episode 20 of Darling in the Franxx, I was left not knowing what to think, but after rewatching it a few times, a thought came to mind: what if this is exactly where the story needed to go? Once I thought about it from that perspective, I was able to see the value in episode 20 and how perfectly fits into the story the creators have been building since the first episode.
