Raúl Castillo is a New York City based actor who has had a remarkable career that has spanned across the stage, television, and cinema. In 2022 alone, he starred in “Cha Cha Real Smooth” and “Hustle,” to most recently “The Inspection,” which closed out the 60th anniversary of New York Film Festival. As an actor, Castillo is drawn to a three ingredient formula when it comes to new projects: the script, the story, and the director. If he is able to connect with all three to bring a collaboration to life, he will dive in head first to commit to bringing authentic storytelling to a character. He meets with ODDA digital to talk about his love for New York City, working with Elegance Bratton on his directorial debut, and his busy slate that continues to be ever evolving.
