This is a strange but beautiful fern that I’ve had with me for years. I saw it overgrow its pot, suffer and come back so many times. This plant should have been repotted and divided ages ago! But finally I got around to do this!

I share the care tips for this plant before chopping it up into pieces, showing you the details of how I do it. Then I show you a satisfying 3.5 months update of the new plants, hopefully inspiring you all to divide your ferns when it becomes unruly.
Needless to say, the fern would’ve eventually died if I did not divide it and set back its age to younger selves by dividing them. Propagation is an integral part of plant care.
