FLASH FLOODS IN SIANOK GORGE: DRONE TRACKS THE SOURCE OF MURKY SIANOK CREEK WATER

Yesterday afternoon, June 3, 2024, a flash flood occurred in Sianok Gorge tourist area, which is traversed by Sianok creek.

According to local residents, the flood occurred suddenly even though it was not raining at the time.

From the brown murky creek water, it can be concluded that this is not a cold lava flood from Mount Marapi.

Sore kemarin tanggal 3 Juni 2024 terjadi banjir bandang di kawasan wisata Ngarai Sianok yang dilalui sungai Sianok.

Menurut informasi penduduk setempat, banjir terjadi mendadak meskipun saat itu di daerah itu tidak turun hujan.

Dari air sungai yang keruh berwarna coklat dapat disimpulkan bahwa ini bukan banjir lahar dingin dari gunung Marapi.
