Mitha Dali Recipe ( Odia ) | Sweet dal recipe. It is one of the prasad from 56 bhoga ( 56 bhog mahaprasad ) daily offered to Lord Jagannath Puri ( Odisha ) . It is traditionally made in clay pot , but here I have shown you this dal recipe using pressure cooker at home. Mitha dali is made with Harada dali ( toor dal / Split pigeon peas ) , jaggery , ghee etc. This dish is serve with Kanika (Sweet rice/mitha arna) and khichdi(ada hengu) which is also uploaded.
