In today's video, I'll be opening and reviewing a 2023-24 Panini Recon Basketball FOTL Hobby box. FOTL boxes sell for $350 a box. Hobby boxes sell for $250-275 a box. Each box contains 10 6-card packs. Expec to find 2 autographs and 20 inserts or parallels per box on average. FOTL boxes contains two additional bonuses of either an Orange Holo(#'d/12), Platinum Swirl(#'d/3), or a Rookie Jersey/Patch Autograph(#'d/18). Look for a variety of base parallels including Holo, Holo Dots SSP, Bronze(#'d/299), Red(#'d/199), Blue(#'d/99), Purple(#'d/75), Effect(#'d/75), Gold(#'d/10), Green(#'d/5), and Platinum(#'d/1). Chase after Rookie Jersey Autographs, Novice Patch Autographs, Draft Night Acetate Signatures, Sophomore Acetate Signatures, Archetype Signatures, and Seasoned Pro Autographs. Recon steps up it's game with inserts for this year bringing a slew of case hits to find. The new SSP Gala is printed to eight cards per. Also new, are the ultra rare Fuzion and Contours. Rounding out the insert offerings are Fleet Fleet, Future Legends, The Mighty, Rock the Rim, Rookie Portraits, Rookie Recon, Rookie Review, Sky's the Limit, Vector, and World Travellers. Recon highlights the new rookie class of Victor Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, Keyonte George, Jamie Jaquez, and Ausar and Amen Thompson.

🃏🃏🃏 for FUN FACTOR: Recon has as much fun as an episode of Miami Vice has punches to the face. There's a healthy amount of numbered cards per box. Recon shines like a Miami sunset with the variety of insert sets.

🃏🃏 for VALUE: For what you'll eventually be paying for a box of Recon - it will drop to the low $200 range - you're getting a decent return. You won't feel like you've been fleeced. If you're a reseller, buyer beware. Recon doesn't move and singles aren't strong.

🃏 for DESIGN: Recon is like Crockett's suit selection. It can take some getting used to. Personally, I enjoy Recon's design. I feel like it took a step back this year. The general public isn't on board though.
