The production process of ceramic surfaces involves high energy consumption, despite the best technologies employed. Facing the challenges of climate change and the need to reduce emissions, Ceramica Sant'Agostino is committed to continuously improve energy management by working on several fronts.

More than ten years ago the company installed a 1 MWp photovoltaic plant still active, to produce renewable energy on site. In the course of 2023, a second plant, which will have a higher capacity of 2.4 MWp, has also been put into operation.
