Watch as our seasoned beekeeper, Jose Uribe, heads out with our mini styrofoam mating nucs through Butte County in Northern California. He's heading over to our bee yard located deep within the canyon in Chico, CA to set the bees out in preparation for flight. These mini mating hives are used to breed queen bees, which we are currently in the middle of the season for. Jose will be sharing a few tips and tricks to help improve the success rate for these little styrofoam nucs, as they can be tricky to run and very sensitive. We are currently running 900 of these (which is where we are maxed out at!) and are in our second season with this specific type of queen nuc.

If you are new to our channel, welcome! We are a small family owned and operated commercial apiary located in Northern California. We've been commercial beekeeping for the past 11 years, but branched off and opened Uribe Honey Bees in January of 2019. We specialize in queen breeding, honey production, pollination services, hive management and brokering.

Thank you for watching and supporting us! We love you guys!
