Welcome to the most famous Island in Caribbean sea, Saona island in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Saona island is so famous and well known since Pirates of the Caribbean and The Blue Lagoon were recorded in this beautiful Island.
Saona island is also famous for its beauty and is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean sea. When we arrived to this magical island and I finally visited Saona island for the first time, I just stopped breathing! It was literally breathtaking beautiful and amazing!
You can access Saona island excursion Punta Cana by local tours. You can find tours in your hotel/residence in Punta Cana or buy it from local guys in public places like beaches of Punta Cana. Tours to Saona island are usually all inclusive and you get the transfer, lunch and drinks included in your tour. Moreover you can by coconuts and pineapple in the Saona island from local people who live in this fantastic island.
In this tour you get the opportunity to swim in Caribbean sea either near the island which has a lower depth or at the middle of the sea with reasonable depth of 1m.
Saona island was one of the important factors that made this trip to Punta Cana memorable to me.
