I made this video for those of you that are unfamiliar with how mic preamps work. There are ways to get the best out of your preamp. Many people fail to realize that there is more to the preamp that you already own. I also give you a demonstration into everything that I mention in this video. I use a tube preamp, solid state preamp, as well as clean preamp. I explain how you can use your preamp to record vocals. I a Neve 1073lb preamp, Retro 500 preamp, and a Grace Design M501. I also own another mic pre but as well as they mic preamps inside of my Universal Audio Apollo.
