Our experience owning pet doves, Pickle and Peanut. Peanut is a male white ringneck dove, and Peanut is a female wild pied ringneck dove. We are slightly obsessed with these feathered angels, and they’re the perfect pets for our family. They’re both less than a year old, and with an average life span of 12-15 years, we look forward to many years with them.
