We did a long tour with our own Bhimthadi horses in konkan region of sanhyadri. We traveld from our home in dapoli to Shivathar Ghal waterfall. We traveld 225km in 9 days, from our village to Shivathar Ghal and back to village on horseback.
Bhimthadi horses is a indigenous species of Maharashtra India. Bhimthadi horse played a significant role in the cavalry of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Great Maratha cavalry. This horase breed is very strong, hardy, smart snd loyal.
In this journey we enjoyed slow traveling. we sow lot of waterfalls, beautiful range of Sanhyadri, and monsoon of Konkan.
