"now i know" is the last track from my EP "maybe i'm better now". The entire project is about growth and becoming more whole, and this song in particular is about things I've learned about love (that there's no such thing as a soulmate or that movie kind of love because it takes work and sacrifice), about time (that it almost feels too late by the time you realize how quickly it passes by), and about life (that we're only here for a short while, but there's something even better and more beautiful on the other side). It's a pretty accurate picture of my brain, which is often preoccupied by nostalgia and memories. I hope it gives you a moment to slow down, ponder the important questions, and take a breather.
