Synopsis

Purshotam Agarwal (Arvind Swamy), a widower living in London, yearns for his granddaughter Nikki (Aruna Irani) to embrace her Indian heritage. When Nikki, raised entirely in England, expresses no interest in an arranged marriage with a young Indian man, a frustrated Purshotam hatches a plan. He convinces Nikki to travel to India, hoping a change of scenery will spark a connection.

Unbeknownst to Purshotam, Nikki is already in love with a British man named Rohit (Mohnish Behl). To avoid the arranged marriage, Nikki devises a scheme. She hires a charming tour guide, Rommie (Akshay Kumar), to pose as her wealthy fiancé. Nikki believes Rommie's flamboyant personality will surely scare off her grandfather.

However, things don't go according to plan. Despite Rommie's attempts to appear arrogant and disinterested, Purshotam warms up to him. Their hilarious encounters showcase the cultural clash between a traditional Indian grandfather and a carefree tourist guide. As Nikki and Rommie spend more time together, their initial dislike transforms into a genuine connection. Will Purshotam discover the truth about their fake engagement?
