We decided to explore the soon to be demolished Hotel Belvedere along Route 66 in Apollo, PA. This place was a hoarder's paradise. There were rooms specific to certain items. You had a cage room, a shotgun shell room, a newspaper room, and even a can room.

Not sure what the Hotel Belvedere is? Here is a brief overview of the place:

Built in 1905 by Joesph Gianini (a contractor who built piers for railroads) with 28 rooms, kitchen, 2nd-floor dining room, and a 1st-floor candy shop and ice cream parlor it sits in decay even as someone lived in it until the place was condemned and they were forced to leave.

A one time favorite for many a traveler to stop on their way to Greensburg, information has been very hard to find on the place.

The Hotel was also the waypoint for when many soldiers when they left (to defend our country) on the railroad, many never to return and their last memory of the Kiski Valley was this hotel. So you would have to think spirits are still lingering around.
