Please forgive the overlapping background noise. This is a clip from the 1996 film version of Hamlet directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh. This was only to be used by my British Literature students during our study of the play. I have always loved this quote from Act 5; Scene 2. "Not a whit. We defy augury. There is a special providence in the fall of a sparrow. If it be now, ’tis not to come; if it be not to come, it will be now; if it be not now, yet it will come. The readiness is all. Since no man of aught he leaves knows, what is ’t to leave betimes? Let be." I often wonder if this is where the Beatles found the inspiration for the song "Let it Be."
