A nice decent day out in Derbyshire at Peak Rail, Rowsley South, Darley Dale, Matlock and Matlock Bath.

We travel from Derby to Matlock on a Turbostar, then we travel on the Peak Railway behind 45596 'Bahamas', which is currently not doing any mainline railtours because of WCR not allowing any Mk1 coaches with no CDL to run, and 'Bahamas' only has vacuum brakes which means it cannot haul Mk2 coaches, but once Mk1 coaches are allowed to be used again on Network Rail, 45596 'Bahamas' will do railtours again.

Also it was nice meeting up with Peak Rail TTI volunteer ‪@derbyshiretrainboy1884‬ that day.

After a visit to Peak Rail, we head to Matlock Bath for a little explore before I head home.
