For over 90 years, IDEAL INDUSTRIES has been enhancing the productivity and safety of electrician’s who test, measure, or troubleshoot electrical systems. We recently launched a new line of digital multimeters with the professional electrician in mind. There are four new digital multimeters that have features and functions that cover the needs of the entry level apprentice to the journeyman electrician that can be used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. Digital multimeters are a standard diagnostic tool for technicians in the electrical and electronic industries. They all have large backlit displays, non-contact voltage sensors built into the middle of the top of the tester, hanging strap mounts so they can be hung from a nail, screw or magnetic surface, integrated probe holders for storage and two handed testing plus they are UL certified and carry a two year warranty. The testers use an illuminated red LED in the top of the meter and emits audible tones to indicate continuity and also notify when the voltage being measured is above 30 volts, a lightning bolt in the left of the display indicates the potential requirement that personal protective equipment should be used when making measurements in certain applications. The 61-357 and 61-347 are top of the line 1000 volt Auto Ranging True RMS multimeters with 6000 Count displays that measure AC and DC voltage and current, frequency, continuity, resistance, diodes, temperature and more. The 61-357 also measures LoZ for low impedance voltage measurements and it’s display has a bargraph in addition to the digital readout. They are CAT IV 600 volt and CAT III 1000 volt safety rated and include relative, range, min max, hold and auto power off functions when taking measurements. Both include a fuse notification letting you know a fuse is missing or blown and a lead warning indicating the red lead is missing or in the wrong port when taking amperage readings. They are also IP52 rated and resistant to dust and moisture and can sustain a drop from 6.6 feet. The 61-337 Auto Ranging and 61-327 manual ranging 600 volt multimeters have 4000 Count displays and have an auto power off function. The 61-337 measures AC and DC voltage and current, frequency, continuity, resistance, diodes, temperature and includes relative, range, hold functions when taking measurements and includes the fuse and lead warning. The 61-327 can measure AC and DC voltage, continuity, resistance, diodes, battery test and includes a hold function. They both are CAT III 600V safety rated and designed for the entry level technician. Thanks for watching folks please read and fully understand the instruction manual before using these testers I’m Ron with IDEAL I’ll see you on the next one. #RonKipperFromIDEAL #IDEALINDUSTRIES
