So this video is about water! We knew that eventually we were going to get a water maker and it wasn't in the budget until next year but with the pandemic here and the borders closed due to COVID it accelerated our need to get a water maker. So Jon went on the hunt and found one on Craigslist that was brand new. A 12 Volt Sea recovery that produces 7 gallons an hour and had it installed. When we have cruised up to the Gulf Islands in Canada in the past the water table can be pretty low on some of the islands and they don't want you filling up your water tank let alone washing your boat. But since we didn't know where we were going to cruise and the marinas are pretty full in the San Juan Islands and Puget Sound anchoring was probably going to be what we were going to be doing more of and water was our weakest link. So this is about our water maker and how it works in different scenarios whether you are in fresh water, brackish or salt water it makes a difference in how you adjust the water maker.
