American Hindus celebrating Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Pratishtha that is occuring in Ayodhya. This celebration took place in Gujarati Samaj Of Houston. All Hindus from Houston, SugarLand, Katy, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas area get together. Pujaris from all mandirs in Houston and surrounding areas attended this event. Representatives from Dubai, Canada, Thailand, China, UK and other countries attended this event. Political leaders like Mayors and Judges also present during this event. Samnijis from Jain Preksha Center were there to give blessings. Jains enjoy this event because Ram was one of the 63 ShalakaPurush according to Jain Religion. Tirthankar Munisuvratswami and Ram were from same era. 22 Tirthankars of Jain Religion from Ikshvaku Dynasty same as Ram. Also Sita was Devotee of Jain Tirthankar Sumatinathji. In Jain Religion there is Jain version of Ramayana. Ayodhya is also Janmabhoomi of Five Tirthankars and place of 18 Kalyanaks of Jain Tirthankars. So many Jain Organizations also attended this event.
