I was really glad when Dave requested this - I used to play a lot of songs from Phantom and Les Miserables when I was about 14 or 15 ... I really loved them so much ... these big, emotional musicals! So ... these songs are really deeply embedded in my spirit ... you know the music you fall in love with when you are at your most hormonal and emotional as a teenager ... it really stays with you... it's a kind of first love, I guess! It felt really great to play this again after all these years... and to realise I still love it! Thanks Dave! I hope you like this heartfelt, improvised version! I think I'm giving that new tripod the sack! Teenagers are allowed to be emotionally unstable - but not camera tripods!
