Writeup

The Cyrusher Ranger is a Class 3 electric bike that is suitable for use in urban environments, cruising, and moderate trails. It has an MSRP of $2,900 USD and comes with a 2-year warranty. The bike weighs around 74lbs and has a battery weight of 8lbs. It is powered by a Bafang rear-hub motor with a torque sensor and a nominal output of 750W and a torque of 80 Nm. It has a 52V lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 20Ah, which translates to a watt-hour rating of 1040Wh. The charge time for this battery is 6 hours, and the estimated minimum and maximum ranges are 30 and 55 miles, respectively.

The Ranger is equipped with a 3.7” full-color LCD display that shows various readouts including trip, battery, speed, odometer, lights, PAS level, maximum speed, and average speed. The top speed here is a swift 28 MPH. The frame is made of 6061 aluminum alloy and has a variety of geometry measurements including a 22.50" reach, 30" stand-over height, 29" minimum saddle height, 33.5" maximum saddle height, 28" width, 53" wheelbase, and 81" length. It is available in green, black, and white colors.

The Ranger has a double crown front fork with air suspension, lockout, and preload adjustment, as well as a hidden rear shock with air suspension and adjustable features. It has various attachment points including rear rack bosses, fender bosses, and bottle cage bosses. It is equipped with a 9-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain and a Shimano trigger shifter. The pedals are large platform pedals, and the brakes are Logan hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors. The grips are non-locking rubber grips with a half-twist throttle, and the saddle is a Cyrusher comfort saddle. The tires are 26” x 4” Kenda tires with Schrader valve tubes.

The Ranger also comes with several accessories including an integrated headlight and a horn. An upgraded 3A charger is also included, and fenders are available for purchase. Overall, the Cyrusher Ranger is a well-equipped electric bike that offers a range of features and capabilities for urban and moderate trail use. Its lithium-ion battery and powerful motor should provide plenty of power and range, while its suspension and hydraulic brakes should make for a smooth and controlled ride. The inclusion of a 2-year warranty is also a nice touch.
