Kalidas Jayaram has been on a roll ever since his debut movie Poomaram’s release. The young actor has been signed up for a number of projects and the latest addition to this list will be Happy Sardar. Kalidas will be playing the title role in this movie that will also have Bollywood actor Javed Jaffrey in an important role. This is not the first time Javed is acting in a Malayalam film – he has earlier played a Pakistani soldier in the film Picket 43.

According to industry reports, Happy Sardar is a film about the great Indian wedding. Touted to be a romantic tale, it will be laced with humour throughout, we hear. A few stills from this film has been released online and is going viral among the netizens. Kalidas looks vibrant and energetic keeping in line with the title. One picture has him dancing, while another has him posing with three women actors of the film. The third is a solo picture of Kalidas.
