In this video I give my opinion on when to remove the nest from my wild lovebirds.

For this I am going to be guided by the behavior and the attitude that both the parents and the young have, since the eldest of chicks has spent enough time outside the nest.

I will take into account that the parents do not bite the young and that they continue to feed and groom them normally. In the event that the female begins a new egg laying, I will proceed to remove the eggs on the fly.

In my opinion, the ideal would be, if no hostile behavior occurs, keep the nest in the cage until the young no longer want to spend more time in it and know how to feed, eat and drink by themselves.
