Real arcade gameplay captured from the actual Time Crisis 4 Namco System Super 256 arcade hardware.
Finally, it was time to do some gameplay of this awesome game. This game uses the exact IR led pcbs and IR sensor that cobra the arcade and Sega House of the dead 2,3,4, Virtua Cop, Ghost Squad and Jurassic park used. Namco used a similar setup for the later Time Crisis 5, Razing Storm, and Point Blank X. The OHMIC OMZ IR setup. The game uses either the Namco FCA2 I/O pcb or the Namco V329 NA-JA pcb, which are usb JVS I/O pcbs. In addition, the CPU pcb or Gun sense OMZ-200 pcb is also used for the gun sensor system. And despite some beliefs, the game doesn’t have an inter-graded gun I/O pcb or is compatible with other light gun I/O pcbs. The game also uses 10 IR led pcbs around the monitor. The game runs only in 15khz 480i resolution. This game is a huge pain in the ass to setup. The game also uses a 3.1 audio system: Left, Right, Voice, and Bass. The third yellow rca jack is not a composite video port but a sound card for the voice navigation feature of the game. Had to do some trickery to get the voice navigation audio to work in this video as the arcade cabinet and the audio amp used a third speaker, sort of like a smaller version of surround sound. Do I recommend this version of the game for home use? No, I do not. Not only are the parts extremely expensive, the set up is terrible. Overall, it’s a good game!
