Join an 8th-grade IT class from Emerald Cove Middle School on a "Pirate Tank" culminating project that incorporates the various objectives that they have or will have learned prior to the end of this school year as a PreIT Academy student at the Cove.

Students will begin working on a 3D prototype with their group using TinkerCad. 3D printing is a powerful tool that incorporates creativity, design thinking, problem-solving, and an opportunity to many disciplines not limited to science, technology, math, and more in one modality. It also enables the students to learn from each other as they work collaboratively in teams on this project.
