We are excited to announce the births of 2 Diana monkeys. One baby was born on May 1st and the other on May 8th.

The Diana monkey is endangered, and its wild population is decreasing due to habitat loss and hunting. Increases in human settlement in the native forested areas have caused drastic deforestation. The MRZ participates with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums' species survival program for Diana monkeys! These babies are the 30th and 31st Diana monkeys born at the Zoo.
