A informative video on not only Tying the Winged beetle, but applied entomology characteristics to the beetle insect. I made modifications to make the existing winged beetle even better. Replaced the rabbit / squirrel dubbin with the superior natural beaver dry fly dubbing. The wing was replaced with Web Wing, so that it will hold its shape when wet, and provide realistic profile and color. It is a greater searching dry fly pattern. I also showed options for different wings.
