How to apply relaxer on your hair step by step.

First, choose the right hair relaxer, taking into consideration your hair type and texture. Mix your relaxer and the activator together, mix properly then section your hair in four parts.
Before you start applying relaxer on your hair, use Vaseline or any protective hair cream and applying it on your hairline, your scalp and around your ears, this will help prevent skin irritation. Put on your hand gloves to protect your hands.
When applying the relaxer, start at the back of your hair and move towards the front, make sure each section of the hair are coated evenly.

To minimize hair damage and maintain healthy hair, you need to relax your hair every 3 months, that is 4 times in a year and it is also important to follow up with a regular hair care routine that includes deep conditioning treatments, moisturizing products, good hair cream and regular trims to remove damaged ends. I trim my hair every 6 months, twice in a year.
