185 photos of Austin 7s seen in the 1920s through to recent times make up this unique collection of Austin 7 images. The colour views were taken by myself at public classic car events over the last few years, including at VSCC (Vintage Sports Car Club) trials, pub meets, circuit races, hillclimbs and elsewhere.
Mixed in with the photos of restored Austins are period b&w images from my own collection, dating to the 1920s through to the 1950s.
The photos feature all manner of vintage and post - vintage Austin 7s in them, just showing how versatile that original platform - which first went on sale in 1922 - was, and still is. Examples of Austin 7 Ruby, Ulster (and replica Ulsteroid), box saloon, Opal, Austin 7-based specials, twin-cam racing car, Gordon England Cup, two- and four-seat tourer (including numerous examples of the famous "Chummy") are to be found here.
