Sometimes you just have to take things into your hands. Back in 2008 for the ASG in New Orleans I was down by MILLIONS of votes. Year before in Vegas I was a starter, and you bet I was feeling myself. I wasn’t about to finish last the following year! I knew I had to get creative. How was I going to get people to vote for me?! I wanted to show the power of the internet, so I knew I had to put a video on Youtube. Remember this is 2008, Youtube was just blowing up. So I started writing and BOOM it hit me, USED CAR SALESMAN VIDEO! Growing up in Dallas, it’s all I saw on TV. Trust me, I had no idea I’d wake up the next morning and see it all over SportsCenter. I learned a really valuable lesson in life: when in doubt, take things into your own hands and you’ll be surprised at the potential new outcomes that arise from your hard work.
