Swimming pool pump is not priming or working. Here are some things you can do and look for swimming pool problems.

Troubleshooting tips:

1. Pump lid o-ring. If it's broken it needs to be replaced. Use Magic Lube.
2. Pump basket cleaned out. If broken replace it.
3. Check the pump housing for cracks. Be sure there's no debris caught inside the housing or impeller. Gently use a screwdriver to loosen up debris and make sure the impeller freely spins.
4. Bleeder valve o-ring.
4. Be sure the water level is between 1/3 - 1/2 up from the bottom of the skimmer.
5. Be sure all valves are in correct positions.
6. PSI Gauge is working.
7. Bleed the air out of the filter tank.
8. DE filter may have too much DE.
9. Skimmer basket cleaned out.
10. Tab feeder o-ring.
11. Suction pipes at the pump motor.
12. Housing gasket.
13. 90 degree pipes are free of debris.
14. Use plumbing drain bladder to remove difficult and hard to reach debris.
