Woodland Mills Sawmill - Building An Easy Jig For Troublesome Logs


For Sawyers that have been doing it for any amount of time, no doubt you have run into the situation where you end up having a log oriented in a less than ideal way and your mill will not pass through freely.


In this event you usually have to come up with a solution that involves finding some shims, using a chainsaw to cut off part of the log, or readjust the log entirely.


In this video I make my attempt to build a jig that should hopefully resolve the situations with an easy to build and easy to use jig that will be on hand for such situations.
