For removing excess salt from the pork, you may do one of two things.

1. Soak in a lot of water for 24hrs then discard the water.

2. Boil in a lot of water before cooking with the Peas in new fresh water.

3. Soak in water for half the day. Then discard that water and replace with fresh water for soaking again overnight.

PRESSURE COOKER TIPS:

- Follow the instructions included in the manual. Especially the safety precautions.

- When pressure cooking the pork and red peas definitely add enough water to cover them and then add even more because during the pressure cooking process the liquid can dry out remarkably sometimes.
