After travelling in Turkey, we decided to visit a new country for us, Egypt. With our bikes we fly from Antalya to the famous resort of Sharm El Sheikh in the south of the Sinai Peninsula. Here we stay in one of many empty hotels (global quarantine is still ongoing) and for two days we are getting to know the city, exploring the Middle Eastern flavour and preparing to move to our main destination the town of Dahab. However, it turned out that it is not an easy task for cycle travellers in Egypt as you need a special permit to travel by bicycle on the Sinai.
