The old "Less is More" really applies here. With simple materials and sewing machine oil as your "cleaner" you can gently and carefully restore luster to a machine's finish. If done with patience, you will be rewarded with a substantially better looking machine without damage to its more delicate finishes. Note the right half of the machine bed and the dramatic improvement just with the patient and gentle use of sewing machine oil as a cleaner. The left side of the bed has only been dusted.
