December 2014 marks 20 years since the first war in Chechnya. Since then, the Chechen people have been living the interminable chronicle of disappearance. That of almost a fifth of its population over ten years of bombings and destruction.

The disappearance, once the war was over, through the systematic kidnapping of thousands of men by Russian special forces on a “pacification and cleansing” mission.
