FAN MADE trailer for the 1982 supernatural thriller "Poltergeist" from director Tobe Hooper and producer Steven Spielberg.
The toughest part editing this one was leaving out scenes. There are so many iconic moments in this film, it was difficult to decide which ones to use and which ones to leave out. I absolutely had to include Carol Anne's "They here", though. I knew that was going in there before I even started.
MUSIC: I used the music from the trailer for 2013's MAMA from Andy Muschietti. I thought it captured the tone I was going for - sort of rhythmic and mysterious at the start then chaotic towards the end. Also, that's Kate Winslet singing at the start of the trailer. It's from her performance as Ophelia in Kenneth Branagh's 1996 film adaptation of William Shakespeare's HAMLET.
