Tim rolls the dice... but these are no ordinary dice!

Four sided dice that are also solids of constant width! Place them on a flat surface, place a flat object on top - a book in this case - and you can move the book in any direction and it moves totally smoothly with no up and down movement at all. However the dice, which are rolling and not sliding, are not spheres. They are however solids of constant width, so in this situation they behave like spheres!

A clear plastic mug with a set of dice enclosed in a sealed compartment at the bottom. I guess you would need to finish your drink before you could roll the dice!

A large black dice (or die!) You can roll it in the normal way. But it has batteries and electronics inside, so place it on the table with the six uppermost and you can push the button which will cause the lights to flash for a moment, and then display a random number between 1 and 6. The lazy way of rolling dice!

Plush dice, with fabric on the outside. For junior poker maybe?

The 'over shaken dice' - which has been shaken too hard. The spots on the dice have slipped and ended up in a bit of a mess!

A dice that contains a lighter...

Finally, a dice that Tim picked up in New York, although it originally comes from Stratford On Avon in the UK! Release the little clasp and up pops a Jack in the Box!

All very unusual dice, or 'dicey' dice as Tim calls them!
